Please don’t fall in love with others to be sad or lonely.

It shouldn’t be like that.

Love is a garden, sprawling and wild, full of flowers that bloom in unexpected places. You wander through it, marveling at the colors and scents, sometimes stumbling on thorns, sometimes discovering the softest petals.

  • But love isn’t meant to be a stormcloud hanging over you, following your steps, reminding you of how gray the sky can be. It’s not supposed to be the shadow that lingers when someone turns and walks away.

Yes, love is like a garden, full of surprises and beauty. Sometimes, it’s amazing, but other times it can hurt. However, love isn’t meant to make you feel sad or weighed down when things go wrong.

Love should be like sunlight filtering through the trees, warming your skin without burning it. Please don't fall in love with others to be sad or lonely.

  • It shouldn’t be like that. Love should feel warm and gentle. It should feel like the first sip of hot cocoa on a cold day. Like sunlight or a cozy drink on a cold day—comforting, familiar, and just sweet enough to make you smile. And if it doesn’t, if it’s sharp like ice and heavy like soaked boots, maybe it’s a love you shouldn’t have to carry.

If it feels heavy or painful, it’s probably not the kind of love you deserve. Because love, at its heart, isn’t about being sad or lonely. It’s not about holding onto someone so tightly that until you lose your own balance.

Falling in love should feel like floating, like the world is handing you a bouquet of stars just because it knows you’ll take good care of them. It’s an adventure, not a punishment—a walk through a meadow, not a climb up a crumbling tower.

So please, don’t let love become a cage. Don’t pick flowers that were never meant for you just because you’re afraid of an empty vase. You deserve a love that feels like the way home smells after a long trip. A love that fits like your favorite sweater and makes you laugh the way your favorite song makes you dance.

And if you’re wandering through that garden and haven’t found it yet, that’s okay. There’s no rush. The flowers are still blooming. The sky is still bright. You’re not alone, not really—you’ve got the whole garden and all the time you need.

  • Just promise me you won’t fall in love to feel less lonely. Love yourself first, like the way the sun loves the earth.

True love shouldn’t make you feel trapped or desperate to hold onto someone. Instead, it should feel freeing and joyful, like a wonderful adventure that makes life brighter and easier.

Don’t settle for a love that doesn’t bring you happiness just because you’re afraid of being alone. You deserve a love that feels comforting, like your favorite things that make you happy and relaxed.

Then, one day, someone will step into your garden with hands full of seeds, ready to plant something beautiful with you.

  • If you haven’t found the right love yet, that’s okay. Take your time, enjoy life, and don’t worry about rushing. You’re not truly alone because life is full of possibilities and beauty.
  • Love yourself first and treat yourself kindly. When you do, someone who appreciates and complements you will come along, ready to build something beautiful together.

  • May one day, these kinds of love will be able to find you again because you always deserve to be loved unconditionally.

Don’t fall in love just to avoid feeling lonely or sad. Love isn’t supposed to feel that way.
